Anti-Wrinkle Injections are a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that uses a natural purified protein to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment involves micro-injections into specific muscles, relaxing them and preventing them from contracting. By injecting muscle relaxant at the first sign of ageing, muscles are paralysed from contraction; thereby preventing deep set wrinkles from forming. The correct amount of muscle relaxants can soften facial wrinkles, while still allowing some movement for more natural facial expressions.
Initial results will begin to appear within 3-4 days, with maximum results taking effect in 10-14 days. Anti-wrinkle treatments can last from 3 to 4 months, however individual results may vary.
